Gift Ideas

Sorry, too much last minute crafty crap to go do to snap a picture for this post.  If any of you like reading biographies, I was listening to an interview today on NPR Radio and there was a great interview with David Eisenhauer and Julie Nixon Eisenhauer about a book they co-authored on David's grandfather, Dwight D. Eisenhauer .  The book is called Going Home To Glory.  As most of you know, I am a Democrat, but after listening to them talk about Ike and his philosophies, I would definitely have crossed over and voted for him.  Personally he was quite conservative, but voted as a moderate and apparently when he was our President, people believed in voting for what was right for the people, not just what was right for their particular party.  He felt extremes on both sides were very dangerous.  Anyway, sounded like a good read and maybe a little reminiscing for the political "good old days".
