Stitching at the Silver family clinic

Van was tubing in the snow and his head met up with the basketball pole; cut went down to the bone.  Grandpa patiently excised the margins, took out a couple of little pieces of bone and gave Van 14 stitches.  Van was a brave trooper and didn't flinch or cry.  He earned himself an early piece of Thanksgiving pie.

  1. Nothing like having a Dr. in the house. I remember Gary being there years ago when one of my boys got hurt and needed stitches. I don't remember if he really stitched him or just cleaned him up waiting for us to get home.
